The King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF) will provide the “KSI E-Library for Korean Language Education,” starting March 14, as part of its efforts to make Korean language education materials more readily accessible anywhere in the world.
With the introduction of the “KSI E-Library for Korean Language Education,” the KSIF aims to provide digital materials (e-Books and audio books) on a regular basis so that KSI learners and teachers around the world can have ready access to quality educational materials customized to their needs regardless of time and place.
The library offers digital materials in several different languages (including English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Uzbek, among others) for KSI learners from diverse cultural backgrounds, aiming to improve user convenience and make Korean language materials accessible to as many people as possible worldwide.
The digital materials include e-PUB, which was developed by the KSIF, a collection of 1,482 e-Books (including 721 Korean language textbooks, 569 books on humanities, and 192 best sellers), and 194 audio books. Each KSI learner or teacher can check out up to five books at a time.
E-Library system is available to all KSI teachers and learners by logging onto the KSI online (nuri.iksi.or.kr)
The KSIF expects that the KSI E-Library Service for Korean Language Education will help KSI learners and teachers with little access to Korean language learning materials enhance their skills and capacity.
