App users can practice conversing in Korean anytime, anywhere
Available for free download at Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and the Online King Sejong Institute
The King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF) will launch the KSI Korean AI Tutor app, which users can use to practice their Korean
conversation skills, on March 3.
KSI Korean AI Tutor, which can be used anytime, anywhere, offers a wide range of different features allowing foreigners to gain
Korean language skills that are designated as “beginner level” in the Standard Korean Language Curriculum.
App users will be able to practice Korean expressions that are commonly used in everyday life, such as asking for directions, placing
an order, and going shopping, as well as situation-specific expressions that are used at weddings, schools, and workplaces, etc.
Voice recognition technology has been applied to allow users to check the accuracy of their pronunciation and use of expressions,
and repeated practice is possible in order to perfect them.
KSI Korean AI Tutor will be available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, free of charge, and the service will
also be available on the Online King Sejong Institute (www.iksi.or.kr). KSIF plans to continue improving the service following its launch.
