KSIF Holds 2025 Korean Company
Job Fair on Metaverse KSI
> Global Korean language learners experience Korean company recruitment processes and gain career insights
> 42 Korean companies participate, providing live lectures, events, and virtual promotion booths
The King Sejong Institute Foundation (Acting President and Secretary General Choi Hyun-seung, hereafter referred to as KSIF), in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Chae Hwi-young), held the 2025 Korean Company Job Fair in Metaverse KSI on October 29 through the Metaverse KSI platform (zep.us/@ksif). The event was designed to give Korean language learners around the world firsthand experience of Korean corporate recruitment processes and provide practical employment information. All interested foreign learners were welcome to participate.
The event began with a keynote lecture titled “Recruitment Trends and Job Analysis for Foreign Employees at Korean Companies: Resume Writing and Interview Strategies” delivered by Park Seong-eun, CEO of the global employment consulting firm LEVERAGEPEDIA. The session provided essential information on preparing for employment in Korea, including how to write a Korean-style resume and develop effective interview strategies.

Following the lecture, two KSI graduates shared their real-life employment experiences, capturing the attention of participants. Loc Thi Hong Phuong, a graduate of KSI Center Vietnam, discussed her journey entering the private sector based on her work experience at Samsung Engineering Vietnam, while Sikinan Konchellah, a graduate of KSI Nairobi, Kenya, spoke about her experience working at KOTRA Nairobi and offered insights into public-sector employment and adapting to Korean workplace culture.
A total of 42 Korean companies participated in the job fair, including Kyunghyang Newspaper and Chorokbaem Media, and presented recruitment information through their virtual booths in the metaverse space. From October 29 to November 4, participants were free to visit the online exhibition hall and explore employment information from each company.

In addition, the KSIF provided a special opportunity for pre-registered participants to receive personalized resume reviews by professional consultants, with exemplary resumes to be exhibited in the metaverse space with personal information removed.
KSIF Secretary General Choi Hyun-seung stated, “We hope this job fair will serve as a meaningful opportunity for Korean language learners around the world to gain practical insights into employment at Korean companies and to shape their personal career paths based on real success stories.”
