KSI Specialization Project 2024 to be recruited in March
KSIF (President Lee Hai-young, hereinafter referred to as "KSIF") supported autonomous programs and telephone Korean-language education courses for KSI worldwide through the Specialization Project in 2023. The Specialization Project involves developing and operating Korean language and culture promotion programs that reflect local conditions, characteristics and demand for each KSI.
In 2023, a total of 22 projects in four areas: ▲special education courses ▲regional teacher training workshops ▲establishment of KSI cooperative systems, and ▲autonomous proposals —were implemented in 22 KSI locations in 18 countries. Various specialization projects were successfully carried out — such as training workshops for teacher and operators; student-graduate exchange events; cultural events celebrating diplomatic relations; international events; and events with external organization.

Additionally, in 2023, a new "Telephone Korean-Language Education Course" was introduced, specifically designed for improving daily conversation skills, considering the local demand for hobby purposes. A total of 250 learners from 15 institutes in 14 countries participated in this course.
KSIF plans to operate the KSI Specialization Project again this year. The 2024 KSI Specialization Project will be selected through a public competition and announced after evaluation in March.
