The King Sejong Institute Foundation (President Lee Hai-young, hereinafter referred to as "KSIF") collaborated with Arirang International Broadcasting (Acting President Hwang Myeong-soo, hereinafter referred to as “Arirang TV") in 2023 to produce Korean language education content titled <K-Chat: Conversing in Korean>. Starting from March 4, this content will be broadcasted additionally on four domestic channels: Multicultural TV; Korea Childcare Broadcasting; Local Autonomous TV (JJCTV); and EBC TV.
<K-Chat: Conversing in Korean> provides content where everyday Korean expressions can be learned through situational drama and example explanations. It covers topics such as 'self-introduction,' 'ordering at a restaurant,' and 'inquiring about prices,' which can be immediately applied to real-life situations.
Last November, a total of 15 episodes of 10-minute content were broadcasted to 108 countries via the Arirang TV channel, and they recorded over two million views on the official KSIF YouTube channel. On the KSIF YouTube channel, in particular, you can watch them with videos of less than five minutes duration (30 episodes), making it easy to view in your spare time.
