Sixty KSI locations to be selected as official test centers for Sejong Korean Language Assessment (SKA)
The King Sejong Institute Foundation (President Lee Hai-young, hereinafter referred to as "KSIF") will conduct the "SKA" and “iSKA” a total of five times in 2024. SKA and iSKA comprehensively assesses Korean language communication abilities in four areas: listening, reading, writing, and speaking — for foreigners learning Korean as a second or foreign language. The Sejong Korean Language Assessment will be administered in two formats: 'SKA,' using the Paper-Based Test (PBT) method; and 'iSKA,' a multistage adaptive test (MST) Internet-Based Test (iBT) method.
The Sejong Korean Language Assessment (SKA), first held in September 2022, is scheduled to be administered worldwide in May (5th), August (6th), and October (7th) this year in KSI locations around the world. The multistage adaptive Sejong Korean Language Assessment (iSKA) is scheduled for its first regular administration in September this year. From February 1 to February 16, KSIF recruited test centers for the Sejong Korean Language Assessment (SKA) worldwide and selected 60 test centers through screening. The selected test centers will support learners' assessments as official test centers for the SKA.
