KSIF launches its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Volunteer Group for regional coexistence
> KSIF members and Seocho Volunteer Center visit four elderly halls in the region

On September 5, KSIF held an inauguration ceremony in the main conference room for the “Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Volunteer Group,” comprised of executives and employees.
Launched on this day, the volunteer group and Seocho Volunteer Center visited four elderly halls and worked on installation of safety handles to help prevent falls among the elderly, and conduct environmental cleanup activities. Going forward, the volunteer group will carry out various ESG activities to secure a safety net for the socially disadvantaged and vulnerable groups in the region, and to protect the environment.

Lee Hai-young, President of KSIF, said, “With the launch of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Volunteer Group, KSIF will take the lead in creating a safer and cleaner regional environment. Furthermore, we will devote ourselves toward solving international environmental problems and fulfill our social responsibility in our daily lives as a public institution, by reducing the use of paper documents, and sharing eco-friendly fonts, etc.”
