KSIF conducting the 3rd regular Sejong Korean Language Assessment (SKA) in September
> Graduates and learners from 25 KSI locations in 19 countries around the world take the exam
> According to a survey conducted after the 2nd SKA, 82% of test-takers responded “Satisfied,” while 82% responded “Will take the test again.”
KSIF conducted the “3rd Sejong Korean Language Assessment (SKA) at 25 KSI locations in 19 countries around the world from September 2 to 10.
The Sejong Korean Language Assessment (SKA) is a comprehensive proficiency assessment of Korean communication skills across four domains: listening, reading, writing, and speaking for those learning Korean as a second or foreign language. Starting with the 1st SKA in September 2022, the 2nd SKA was conducted in May of this year, and the 3rd SKA was conducted in Sept. of this year.
Graduates and learners of each KSI took the 3rd SKA, conducted at 25 locations in 19 countries in the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Europe, selected through preliminary contests.

In order to improve questions and implementation of the SKA in the future, KSIF conducts a survey of test-takers and KSI officials after each test. For the question asking about overall satisfaction on the 2nd SKA, 82% of the respondents answered “Satisfied,” showing a high level of satisfaction. When asked whether they intend to take the test again, 97.9% of the respondents answered they would.
Lee Hai-young, President of KSIF, said, “Going forward, KSIF will continue to make efforts to further increase the validity and reliability of SKA to make it a credible assessment.”
