On April 8, the King Sejong Hakdang Foundation participated in the 46th National Conference of the Korean Society of Bilingualism at Kyung Hee University's Seoul campus, presenting the development and operation of the Metaverse King Sejong Institue project, launched in 2022. The Foundation also displayed educational content leading the evolution of the Korean language education ecosystem.

Over 190 researchers attended the conference, themed "Transformation of the Korean Language Education Ecosystem.” At the event, the Foundation showcased the process of building and piloting the Metaverse KSI, discussed the need and direction for future research on metaverses in Korean language and culture education, and introduced the Foundation's support plan for this area. The Metaverse KSI, immersive content, AI learning apps, and textbooks developed by the Foundation were also revealed to the public.

In addition to this conference, the Foundation plans to attend future conferences related to Korean language and culture education to promote its educational content and support the research activities of academics.
