Launch of KSI Business Korean App
Providing services for intermediate-level learners want to study Korean for the business world
Free to download for all users on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
The King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF) launched the KSI Business Korean app this past March, as part of its efforts to meet the
needs of diverse learners of the Korean language.
The newly launched app has been developed specifically for intermediate-level learners wanting to work for a Korean company.
It is designed to help users, who are already capable of carrying on casual conversations in Korean, learn essential expressions in a
company setting.
In consideration of the growing demand among foreigners to work in areas where knowledge of Korean is useful, the app provides
dialogues with real-life expressions used in six different workplace settings, including an electronics company, trading company,
cosmetics maker, entertainment company and hospital. Users of this new service can, therefore, have an indirect experience of being
in the job market and actual workplace situations. There is also an interactive feature on the app where the user is presented with
dialogues and the following sequence of the story entirely depends on the response chosen by the user. This feature was added to
encourage learners to take a more active part in their own learning process.

The KSI Business Korean app, which is easy to use even for beginner learners, supports six languages: Korean, English, Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Russian. It is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store for free download.
