100 Korean Language Textbooks Delivered to the Saigon Hangul School!
KSI Center Vietnam
On July 29, the Vietnam Center King Sejong Institute (hereinafter referred to as KSI) (President Jeong Jongkwon) delivered 100 KSI Korean language textbooks to the Saigon Hangul School.
The Saigon Hangul School was established in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2009 to teach Korean language to Korean children who needed to learn Korean language and to members of multi-cultural families in Vietnam who love Korea.
Currently, 140 children from ‘Korean-Vietnamese’ multicultural families are studying Korean language in the Saigon Hangul School. Not only do the children learn Korean language, but also Vietnamese mothers participate together with their kids.
Following such participation, the Vietnam Center KSI donated 100 textbooks in total; 20 textbooks each for King Sejong Korean Language Textbooks 1~4 and 20 textbooks of King Sejong Culture 1 in order to support the Korean classes for mothers from multicultural families in the Saigon Hangul School.
Teachers at the Saigon Hangul School consider KSI textbooks as the best for teaching Vietnamese mothers and were satisfied with the contents and quality of the textbook. Starting from this textbook support, the Vietnam-based KSI will continue to provide various supports for learners and families of the Saigon Hangul School in the future.
The Vietnam Center KSI hopes that the Korean skills all children and mothers in the Saigon Hangul School will further improve!
