> Second administration to be held on March 14, following the first test in 2024

KSI Ljubljana in Slovenia began registration for the 11th Sejong Korean language Assessment (SKA) on January 19. This marks the second time KSI Ljubljana has administered the assessment, following the seventh test held on October 26, 2024.

The Sejong Korean language Assessment is a test that comprehensively evaluates learners’ listening, reading, writing, and speaking abilities in Korean. It is designed with questions that are highly applicable to real-life situations, such as everyday life and work. The test also incorporates the latest technologies, including stage-based adaptive testing and automated scoring. It is scheduled to be held three times in 2026, in March, June, and September.

KSI Saint Petersburg in Russia and KSI Ljubljana in Slovenia have been selected as official European test sites for the 11th Sejong Korean language Assessment (SKA) to be held on March 14. KSI Ljubljana is actively promoting the Sejong Korean language Assessment (SKA) to its learners as well as to students in the Department of Korean Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana.

Lukman Klaudija, who took the 7th Sejong Korean language Assessment (SKA) in 2024, now works as a local operations staff member at KSI Ljubljana. Klaudija said, “The Sejong Korean language Assessment (SKA) was an opportunity to validate my Korean proficiency and also helped me find employment. Preparing for the test was challenging, but I felt a great sense of achievement and fulfillment after seeing my results.” Klaudija also expressed hope that many Korean language learners in Slovenia will take the Sejong Korean language Assessment (SKA).

In addition to the Sejong Korean language Assessment (SKA), the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) will be administered for the first time in Slovenia this October. The Department of Korean Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, has been selected as the administering institution and will host the 108th TOPIK. KSI Ljubljana expects these two tests to serve as new stepping stones for Korean language learners in Slovenia.
