The King Sejong Institute Foundation (Acting President and Secretary General Choi Hyun-Seung, hereafter referred to as KSIF) announced that Season 4 of the Korean language education program “Speak in Korean!” (Cùng nói tiếng Hàn!), jointly produced with Vietnam Educational Broadcasting (VTV7), began airing on VTV7 on August 15. Season 4 airs every Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 p.m. (Vietnam local time), beginning with the first broadcast on August 15, and consists of a total of 30 episodes.
Since its launch in 2021, “Speak in Korean!” has aired a total of 75 episodes up through Season 3 in 2024. As of July this year, videos of the program posted on YouTube have reached a cumulative 1.26 million views, receiving strong positive responses from Vietnamese audiences.

While Seasons 1 and 2 focused on beginner-level Korean learning, Season 3 dealt mainly with expressions related to various situations Vietnamese people might encounter when visiting Korea. Season 4 is produced on the theme of using Korean in business contexts, based on the content of the textbook Sejong Business Korean, newly developed by KSIF last year. In particular, it presents situations that Vietnamese audiences can relate to by considering local culture and sentiment, and provides supplementary educational materials for each episode through the VTV7 website (vtv7.vtv.vn).
Choi Hyun-Seung, Secretary General of KSIF, stated, “With the increasing scale of trade between Korea and Vietnam, demand is also rising among Vietnamese people for Korean language proficiency needed for employment at Korean companies and workplace life. KSIF will continue to support the growth of Vietnamese Korean language learners through co-producing broadcasting programs with VTV7 and contribute to expanding the scope of economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.”
