Now, in KSIF
> Guidance on evacuation and emergency response for all staff
> Enhancing safety consciousness including emergency exit protocols
On May 16, the King Sejong Institute Foundation carried out a civil defense drill involving all its staff members, starting from 2:00 p.m. The training was aimed at bolstering national preparedness in the face of emergencies, focusing on instructing employees on appropriate responses during an air raid
The exercise was conducted in the parking area of the Foundation's main building, commencing with an air raid alert, followed by a warning alarm and subsequently an all-clear signal. Guided by assigned leaders, all employees of the Foundation promptly evacuated to the designated safety area via the emergency staircase. There, they underwent training on how to conduct themselves during emergencies.
"Thanks to the Civil Defense Day drill, the first one since the outbreak of COVID-19, we could heighten our staff's awareness about safety and preparedness through practical training and education for emergency situations," commented Lee Hai-young, President of KSIF.
