In March, KSIF released four new promotional videos on the Foundation's official YouTube channel (@King Sejong Institute Foundation). The videos star Daniel Lindemann, Alberto Mondi, and Lucky, who were appointed as the Honorary Ambassadors of KSIF last year, and present the Korean language and culture in an engaging way that appeals to foreigners. The video highlights captivating aspects of the Korean language and culture, such as the Korean greeting of 'hello' when meeting and parting, the banchan (side dish) culture of enjoying a hearty meal, and the delivery culture of ordering food anytime, anywhere.
“Dream of a KSI Student” tells the story of a KSI student, Ms. Ilayda, who achieved her dream through the King Sejong Institute. Moving away from the traditional format of listing the Foundation’s projects, the film uses a real learner's story as its theme, showcasing how a girl who loved K-pop realized her dream of becoming a YouTuber creator who promotes Korean culture worldwide.
Meanwhile, the Foundation also released two promotional videos with a movie parody concept. Parodies of “Top Gun: Maverick" and "Slumdog Millionaire," the videos aim to make the public feel more connected to the King Sejong Institute The videos naturally capture the atmosphere of Korean streets and use creative scene transitions to enhance the immersion and enjoyment of the videos. The four promotional videos can be viewed on the Foundation's official YouTube channel.
