Call for 2022 KSI Specialized Programs

  1. Seventeen programs in five areas ended with great success in the previous year
  2. Applications for 2022 specialized programs due by March 10, 2022

The KSI specialized programs are designed to promote the development and operation of educational and culture programs tailored to meet the regional needs of each KSI. Over 60 programs have been selected and operated since 2016.

This KSI accepts applications for specialized programs in five areas and provides additional financial funds for the selected programs. The five areas include: ▲KSI promotion in relation to the KSI’s 10th anniversary; ▲special educational courses; ▲external cooperative programs; ▲formation of KSI cooperative systems, and ▲proposals by individual KSIs. This year, especially, KSI promotion to coincide the KSI’s 10th anniversary is included as one of the five areas.

The KSI plans to announce the finalists at the end of March after rigorous reviewing. Fore more detailed information on the project and application, please refer to the notice on the NBMS, the KSI integrated operations management system.

In 2021, a total of 17 specialized projects undertaken by 16 KSIs in 13 nations around the world were successfully completed. Specialized programs in diverse areas, including K-pop and K-drama clubs and their activities; contactless events on KSI graduates’ visit to KSI learners; Korean cultural events held jointly with external organizations, etc., and received positive responses from the participants.
