I’ve learned new Korean culture through Hanbok!

On December 3, King Sejong Institute, Jakarta held a cultural class, <Experience Hanbok and Traditional Bow (Jeol) >. In the class of Elementary level 1, the learners dressed up in hanbok and learned each name of Hanbok and how to tie Gorem, as well as traditional greeting. The learners, who learned there are bow and deep bow according to the necessary rituals, experienced traditional greeting themselves and it was a clumsy gesture, but they looked happy while experiencing Korean culture.
The end of the cultural class was "Making Hanbok with colored paper," and the learners folded colorful paper to make men's and women's hanbok and showed off their skills. Yoon Su-jin, a faculty who conducted the cultural class, said, “There are various reasons and purposes for learning Korean, but Indonesian students and office workers who like Korean culture seem to forget the tiredness and stress in their daily lives and to get their vitality of life back.
