King Sejong Institute, Xi’an held a traditional wedding with 30 learners on October 25th. The learners experienced ‘Hamjinabi (Ham carrier)’ and ‘Traditional Wedding’ after wearing Hanbok. Many learners were satisfied with the exotic experience that they couldn’t experience in China such as the squid mask of Hamjinabi, Yeonji Gonji of bride, and wedding drink the bride and groom sharing. The participants had time to compare Korean and Chinese traditional weddings at the end of the class. Park Bo-eun, a teacher of the institute, “Through this culture activity, it became an opportunity to understand widely the cultures of Korea and China. We will come close to the learners with various cultural events in 2020, too.”
