In the center of London, showed the exhibition and performance of Korean language and culture to 6,500 people.

- King Sejong Institute Foundation, running Hangeul booth at ‘2019 the Language Show in London’ from November 15 to 17
- Exhibited more than 30 kinds of contents and prepared the various events of Hangeul stamping

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and King Sejong Institute Foundation introduced the newest contents of Korean language and culture to about 6,500 foreigners.
MCST and KSF operated Hangeul booth at ‘The Language Show 2019’ that held in West hall of Olympia London, UK for 3 days from November 15(Fri) to 17(Sun) at local time.
A lot of visitors and other languages officials visited Hangeul booth and successfully ended.

Both parties showed the winning works of ‘Hangeul Idea Awards’ organized by the foundation from this year as well as educational contents of Korean language and culture developed by the foundation
In addition, besides the content exhibition, there were ▲ the basic Korean language lecture and ▲ Korean traditional music performances such as Daegeum and Gayageum. Through the experience programs such as ‘Hangeul trace’ and write’ and ‘Hangeul Top-Spinning’, it made visitors interested in Korean language and cultures.

A local participant visited Korean booth said, “I’m interested in ‘Nuri-King Sejong Institute where I can learn and enjoy Korean culture anytime and anywhere.” And added “I like K-POP and I wanted to learn more about Korea, but I just I didn’t know how to do. Now I know this free learning materials provided by Nuri-King Sejong Institute and I think I’ll introduce them my friends to use together.”

A person in charge of the foundation business said, “for Hangeul booth this year, we prepared various additional events as well as exhibition to make visitors from all over the world feel living Korea. We look forward to expand Korean language demand abroad through this.”

The 31st Language Show 2019 in London is an international language and culture event that about 60 universities and publishers attended this year, held 80 times of lectures and professionals’ seminars, and about 6,500 visitors participated in the exhibition. MCST and KSF has been operated Hangeul booth at numerous international language exhibition to promote Korean language and culture around the world since 2015.
