Who goes well with Korean and Mongolian traditional clothing?

In last October, King Sejong Institutes all over the world held various events for Hangeul Day, KSI Ulaanbaatar 2 prepared the different event. That was ‘Korean-Mongolian Traditional Fashion Show’. Over 250 KSI learners and residents attended the fashion show that held in the auditorium of National University of Mongolia on October 12. The learners walked on the center stage to the music wearing Hanbok and ‘Deel’, Mongolian traditional clothing. There were about 80 kinds of Hanboks and Deels that showed on the stage. It was said that people all side such as Korean families in the region and learners’ relatives helped to get various clothing for the show.

At the end of the fashion show, KSI officials selected the winners in three awards of ‘Beauty’, ‘Image Making’, and ‘Photogenic’. Kim Hyun-ju, a teacher for an event, said, “We prepared the event that experience Korean and Mongolian clothing culture according to KSI’s philosophy to pursue the interculturalism. I’d like to especially thanks to six exchange students of Dankook University, volunteers for today’s event.”
