Two pairs of mother and daughter “Learning Korean following my daughter.”

There are two pairs of mother and daughter who learning Korean in King Sejong Institute La Rochelle. The two mothers became to attend KSI because of their daughters who love K-Pop. They are precisely Sandra-Amelli and Vernique-Cassandra.

BTS Army’s Korean Love, ‘Sandra-Ameli’
Sandra-Amelli, a mother and daughter, have been attending KSI since 2018. As her daughter Amelli often talked about Korea and was humming K-pop, Sandra was naturally interested in the Korean language. Especially, they said they are Korean food lovers that they can even make kimchi, because they have enjoyed Korean food entertainment program. They went to BTS concert recently and said that they would like to know more about Korea at KSI.

Falling in Korean while learning Samulnori, Veronique-Cassandra
Cassandra, a daughter, became to learn while leaning Samulnori and Korean dance at KSI. One day, her mother Veronique is said to have been impressed by that her daughter talked to Korean in Korean language. She is said to have wanted to learn new language to communicate with people from other countries and enrolled KSI La Rochelle followed her daughter on 2018.

Lee, Hyunok, operating personnel of KSI La Rochelle, said "I am proud to see the students advising to their family members or acquaintances to learn Korean," and "We will do our best to make our institute fun and useful space for both mothers and daughters."
