King Sejong institute Center USA

The KSI has been introduced by ‘KCON 2019 LA’.

For three days from last August 16th to 18th, the ‘2019 KCON LA’ was held in the LA Convention Center & Staples Center in Los Angeles, the United States. ‘KCON(Korea Convention)’ is the world-biggest K-Wave event held from 2012 for the purpose of globalization of K-Wave, and about 103,000 people participated in this event. Participating in the ‘2019 KCON LA’, the King Sejong institute Center USA operated a booth for promoting the KSI and contents of Korean language/culture. The event for experiencing Hanbok was very popular enough to attract about 600 participants.

KBS America and YouTubers who reported the institute booth, introduced the institute news through online media. Son, Woo-Seong, the office head of King Sejong institute Center USA said, “People who wanted to learn Korean language without opportunities got to know about KSI. I will continuously work hard to increase the awareness of KSI in the Unites States.”
