KSIF Launch Online Korean Level Test for First Time

Customized study support available based on Korean level test results

Free service is available on Nuri-Sejong Hakdang website from March 13th.

Korean learners around the world can now check their level of Korean language skills anytime, anywhere.

On March 13th, KSIF launched an online Korean language test on Nuri-Sejong Hakdang website (www.sejonghakdang.org), a hub site for Korean language and culture.

The test offers a total of 8 levels from beginner to intermediate. The evaluation includes ‘Listening’, ‘Reading’, and questions with multiple choices. The major advantage of this level test is that a person can easily take a test online on a computer or smartphone without installing a separate program.

Candidates can use Korean language and cultural contents from Nuri-Sejong Hakdang website according to their test results. Also KSI officials can place the students in an appropriate class on the basis of online level test results.

In the meantime, it had been difficult for Korean learners of Nuri-Sejong Hakdang website to find out their level of Korean language and which contents they should study. KSIF expects to improve the satisfaction of online learners by providing customized contents based on their level test results.

Online Korean level test is available on Nuri-Sejong Hakdang website (www.sejonghakdang.org) ⇨ Learn ⇨ Korean level test. In addition, KSIF plans to publish a level test application guide translated in English, Chinese and Spanish on Nuri-Sejong Hakdang website (www.sejonghakdang.org) in April.
