From December 10th until 13th, King Sejong Institute Foundation aired KSI students’ Korean cultural experience episodes called ‘Let’s Enjoy Together Korean Culture’ on Arirang TV for four days.

The episodes consist of four themes: making kimchi, bibimbap, composing K-pop, and learning K-pop song/dance. They feature four students of King Sejong Institutes experiencing Korean culture and share their experiences with their friends when they return home countries.

Guests who appeared on the episodes are KSI students from Brazil, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Thailand, and they are also the winners of 「UCC Competition You, who love Korean Culture is a “Hallyu Star”!」, which was held in May and June, 2018. The episode that was aired on December 10th featured Max Fritsch from KSI São Leopoldo, Brazil, learning to make kimchi from kimchi master, Ha-yeon Kim. The second episode portrayed Tolepova Tumaris from KSI Tashkent, Uzbekistan, learning K-pop songs and dance, the third episode showed Alymbekova Aktilek from KSI Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, learning how to make bibimbap from Chef Hyo-seop Shin and then Alymbekova’s own bibimbap cooking class at the KSI after returning home.

KSIF plans to produce more video clips of KSI students’ experiences of Korean culture, and invite more foreign students to experience Korean culture. The episodes of ‘Let's Enjoy Together Korean Culture’ will be posted on the SNS and website of Nuri-Sejong Hakdang (www.sejonghandang.org).
