grants scholarships to KSI learners

Evatec Korea Co. Ltd. and KSIF announced that they have selected 2 international students at KSI for the ‘Evatec Korea scholarship’ and presented the scholarship to them.

Evatech Korea Co., Ltd. sponsored a scholarship to encourage students learning Korean language at KSI. After a comprehensive review, KSIF selected 2 students with excellent academic achievement even under a difficult situation. The honorary winners of this scholarship are from Kazakhstan and Sri Lanka and are currently enrolled in the Division of International Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. They responded with a grateful message, promising to “focus on learning in Korea through this scholarship”.

“I hope that the Evatec Korea scholarship will help to create stable learning conditions for students by reducing the financial burden,” says a KSIF official. “We will continue to expand our supports for students at KSI as their mentor and sponsor through public and private cooperation.”

Evatech Korea Co., Ltd. has been continuously engaged in social contribution activities for disadvantaged classes by sponsoring World Vision, ChildFund Korea, Suwon Nazaret House, SAIND (Supporter’s Association for Independent living of North Korean Defectors), and more since 2005.

Meanwhile, since 2017, KSIF has been operating a scholarship program that provides an opportunity for excellent students at KSIs around the world to obtain degrees in Korea. Currently, a total of 14 KSI students from abroad are studying at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Chosun University, and Kangnam University.
