On July 7, the King Sejong Institute Foundation (President: Kang Hyounhwa, hereinafter KSIF) conducted the training necessary for operation of KSI, targeting 60 new KSI members.
The training, given at the education center on the seventh floor of KSIF, was available for onsite attendance and online (YouTube). Recorded videos were also distributed for those who could not attend.
For this training, KSIF provided detailed guidance on general administration and budget operation, operation of educational courses, and use of the Integrated Operation Management System (NBMS), which are necessary for operation of the King Sejong Institute. Lectures on optimizing the teachers, operation of online education courses, and cultural and scholarship projects were also provided.
“I was able to understand the operation, budget, and education of KSI more deeply through this training,” remarked a member of KSI who attended the training, adding, “I will be able to run KSI better based on the contents of the training.”
President Kang Hyounhwa of KSIF explained, “We broadcasted the lectures for those who could not attend the training this year due to COVID-19, and received good response. It was rewarding to see the members who attended the lecture onsite focusing to the end. We expect that each institute will successfully complete the pilot operation through this training. KSIF will supply any support the institutes need.”
