<2021 World Korean Educators Conference> Online Pre-Training

Online Korean language and culture pre-training education provided for the 100 participants of the offline event in August

The King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF, president: Kang Hyounhwa) will conduct online Korean language and culture pre-training education for the 100 participants of the face-to-face event in Korea. The training will be conducted online for one month starting in mid-June.

This online pre-training consists of three elective courses and two required courses which are helpful for teaching Korean. Three of twelve possible elective courses can be selected, while the required courses consist of Korean culture education in areas such as knot crafting and K-beauty.
 

Participants in the pre-training who complete all five courses will be selected as final participants at the conference, and through this online pre-training will be able to enhance their understanding of KSI"s Korean language and culture education and strengthen their teaching capabilities. In addition, based on the pre-training content, they will participate in and practice in-depth Korean language and culture education as per the event schedule.

Meanwhile, the is an event hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and organized by KSIF in order to strengthen the educational expertise of Korean language teachers at home and abroad and to establish a teachers’ cooperation network. This year, in August, it will be held by integrating face-to-face and non-face-to-face methods.
