KSIF Signs Business Agreements with Lotte Duty Free and Airport Railroad

Business agreements signed with Lotte Duty Free on April 19 and Airport Railroad on April 28
Cooperation in promoting Korean language and cultural contents based on the capabilities and resources of each institution

The King Sejong Institute Foundation (President: Kang Hyounhwa, hereinafter "KSIF") signed a business agreement with Hotel Lotte Lotte Duty Free (CEO Lee Kap, hereinafter "Lotte Duty Free") to provide high-quality Korean language and cultural education content to foreigners at the Lotte Duty Free Myeongdong main store on April 19th at 2 pm.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will provide Korean language education content to the Lotte Duty Free LDF Magazine, which is read by 1.8 million people in six countries around the world. To this end, KSIF will provide Korean education booklets and audio files to Lotte Duty Free, and Lotte Duty Free will reorganize them and publish them in the six languages of Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Vietnamese.

KSIF plans to promote Korean language and cultural contents to the world and continue to cooperate with organizations to revitalize the Korean tourism industry, such as providing information on KSI to Lotte Duty Free customers or introducing KSI online learning operated by KSIF to Lotte Duty Free LDF Magazine readers.

In addition, KSIF has signed a business agreement to promote Korean language education and promote transportation using the Airport Railroad at the Airport Railroad HQ in Seo-gu, Incheon on April 28th at 3pm. Airport Railroad operates a route connecting Seoul and Incheon International Airport, the first destination of foreign tourists, and is used by 260,000 people a day.

Through this agreement, Airport Railroad introduces "Travel Korean" content in the monthly AREX Magazine published by Airport Railroad and provides a QR code to download the "Travel Korean" learning app. The "Travel Korean" learning app launched by KSIF last year is designed to make it easy for foreigners to learn about expressions, situations, and Korean culture that they can use while traveling in Korea.

AREX magazine, which contains KSIF Korean language learning content such as "Travel Korean," will be posted on Airport Railroad direct trains, 14 stations, and 23 tourist information centers in the metropolitan area, and can be viewed on the Airport Railroad online magazine. In addition, the two organizations will continue to cooperate by utilizing their respective capabilities and resources, such as promoting the Airport Railroad route to people visiting Korea and developing Korean language education contents related to railroad culture using the Airport Railroad.
