The KSI Korean Cultural Center, Egypt hosted the 2025 Outreach KSI Event on August 28 at the Anfushi Cultural Palace in Alexandria. The event brought together 23 local Egyptians interested in Korean language and culture, offering a variety of programs—from the opening ceremony to cultural experiences, exhibitions, and performances.
The event began at 11:00 a.m. with an opening ceremony, followed by two sessions of beginner Korean language classes. Pre-registered participants spent meaningful time learning Korean through engaging and interactive lessons. Teacher Kim Ji-young from the KSI Korean Cultural Center, Egypt, explained the origins of the Korean language, the principles of Korean consonants and vowels, and how syllables are combined to form words. The participants showed great enthusiasm and interest in learning Korean. In particular, during the Korean language class, participants played a bingo game using the Korean words they had learned, and the winner received an educational kit featuring BTS content, designed to make learning Korean even more enjoyable.
